Another week of workouts under the belt. This week was decent in terms of solid gym workouts. We didn't make it in as frequently as last week but other forms of activity made up for it somewhat. We have been taking Axel to the park and sprinting with him which has been good for all of us. It lets him stretch his puppy legs and get his energy out and gets our heart pumping plus it's a blast.
- 15 minutes on treadmill
- Leg curls
I wanted to try doing the two things that seem to be so popular on Sunday this week since the gym is pretty empty. It was a productive workout in that I could take my time and really do good form and even just get on the machines. I will do this from now on when we go on Sundays!
- Walking lunges
I was exhausted this day for whatever reason, I think I hadn't drank enough water so just took it easier than normal and stretched well.
- Side lateral raises
- front raises
- Tricep push back
- Push ups
- 25 minutes treadmill, 11% incline for 1/2 and running for other half
- Lat pull down
We didn't go to the gym but I took Axel for two walks and we sprinted at the soccer park with him again and took him on another 30 minute walk. I also found some old ankle weights (10-15 lbs. each) and did leg lifts and some glute work. I am going to be using these from now on when we don't go to the gym. Even the most basic things with these ankle weights were a workout.
Overall I'm satisfied with the week and liked that some of it was outdoors activity. I plan to work more on my arms this week as they kind of got the shaft this past one. School starts tomorrow so going to the gym is extra important with all that studying and just in general for sanity.
