Fun and Food

Happy Groundhog Day! Yesterday was a fun and busy one over here. Chelsey and I went to the mall, grabbed some starbucks, went to a Phoenix Sun's game via light rail and finally stopped for a late night In-N-Out stop. Oh yes and to the grocery store for bananas!

Before heading to the game I stopped at Which-Wich, a sandwich shop that you order via a paper bag. I had gone in with people before but never actually ordered, until yesterday! I ordered a chicken sandwich on wheat bread with pretty much all the veggies and a side of pesto. It was great and fun filling out a paper bag order.

In the evening we went to the Phoenix Sun's vs. Dallas Mavericks game. It is always a show to watch the Sun's! There is energy the minute you walk in. With the music pumped up, the in between quarter shows and the fans it all makes for a fun evening. This time included A 'Salute to Service' tribute that involved a tug of war between the army and navy and then the final round was army vs army.

This morning we awoke and I darted it to the kitchen to utilize the fresh strawberries and bananas waiting in the fridge as a result of last night's 11 pm grocery store stop. They were in prime condition for Half Baked Oatmeal. This blew my taste buds out of the water. It was like baked but juicier and better! I will be sure to post the recipe soon. 

I just found out about the the superbowl coaches being brothers of the opposing teams! What? That is just crazy. I was told that and about fell to the floor though I'm sure y'all all ready knew that. What are the chances?! Does anyone have big plans for the Super Bowl?

Now it's time to go finish of this week's LiveFit plan followed by a stop to Mill. Ave. in Tempe.
